Roland Arnison is an expedition leader, film-maker, drone pilot, writer, environmental consultant and explorer. His explorations have taken him to many adventurous parts of the world – mountaineering, sea-kayaking or hiking, often carrying out field research or making films.
Roland leads expeditions with conservation research and personal development objectives and he has led many expeditions with the British Exploring Society and with Biosphere Expeditions in particular. Roland is a qualified Mountain Leader, and was a Mountain Rescue volunteer for many years.
His own, often solo, expeditions are driven by his thirst for adventure in remote, challenging environments along with his interest in learning first-hand about wildlife and its interactions with humans in wild and remote environments. Roland’s film-making focusses on environmental, wildlife and adventure stories, often filmed in challenging situations.
