Dr Lucy Obolensky is a GP and EM doctor specialising in Global and Remote Healthcare. She recently founded Endeavour Medical to provide a forum for education, research and opportunities for all health professionals working in these fields. Lucy is Associate Professor of Global Health and Remote Medicine at the University of Plymouth and works closely with the British Antarctic Survey within this role.

She has over twenty years’ experience in the field of Expedition Medicine and Global Health and established her niche working with those facing physical or mental challenges. She has supported numerous Natural History Productions including Planet Earth, Blue Planet II and Our Planet. 

She completed a post graduate qualification in International Health Consultancy at the Liverpool school of Tropical Medicine and works with governments and NGOs to achieve a holistic approach to health system strengthening, locally and globally.

Lucy is a founder and trustee of the charity Dharura: Global Emergency Care and uses funds from Endeavour Medical to support their overseas projects in LMICs.
