New member welcome tours

Your support as a member powers new possibilities. Join us in person to learn about the work of the Society and how to get more involved.

About the tours

Recent joiners (or those looking for a refresher) are warmly invited to join us at the Society in London to discover more about the history of the Society, who we are today and how to make the most of their membership.

Each event includes a walking tour around the building and drinks reception ahead of one of our Monday night lectures.

Beginning in the reception of our Exhibition Road entrance you will be led through several public and members areas of the building before concluding with a private drinks reception to get acquainted with other attendees before the lecture starts.

Lift access is available but if you have any specific requirement please visit our accessibility page or get in touch via email at access@rgs.org

This welcome tour is for members only but you are very welcome to invite a guest to join you at the evening's lecture after the tour. Please book those tickets separately.

Please check back in early August for our next tour dates.
