Lexi Bushell

Lexi is a multidisciplinary artist and cultural agitator working at the intersection of film, music, and queer community building. Through her film work with Prolekult, she has contributed to pieces that challenge dominant narratives, and agitate on important issues through a Marxist lens.

As a musician in a queer hardcore band, Lexi brings raw intensity and unapologetic queerness to the stage, carving out space for voices often pushed to the margins.

Lexi is the founder of 0121 Queercore, a DIY promotion platform dedicated to fostering a vibrant queercore and queer hardcore scene in Birmingham by organising shows, amplifying underrepresented artists, and building community through resistance and joy.
