I am moving from one Key Stage to another over the summer - which category do I submit into?
Students should enter the Key Stage category they are in on the day they submit their entry.
Can students submit as a group?
Entries should be created individually by students – entries created by groups of students will not be accepted.
Can all schools take part?
Entries from all schools, UK and international, are being accepted.
Can home educated students take part?
Home-educated students may enter. Please submit the parent/carer details when teacher information is requested and your home address instead of the school address. Please submit via the state educated route.
Do I need to pre-register to take part?
There is no need to pre-register to take part. Do not submit your details into the application form until you are ready to also upload your entries into our file system.
Do you supply feedback on entries?
Due to the volume of entries the Society cannot enter into correspondence about individual entries or provide feedback. We will contact you/your student if you/they are selected as a winner.
How many entries can I submit from my school?
We ask that schools run an in-house competition and only send their top 10 entries in each age category into the national competition.
Are there any rules about image use?
Yes. Any images used on the posters MUST have the relevant permissions. Please do not just take images from the internet without getting the correct permissions from the image owner. We recommend that sites such as Unsplash, Pixabay and Flickr are used. All images must be credited on the entry. Entries may be discounted if we are unable to guarantee that the images used are copyright free or have the correct permissions to be published in such a way.
Where can I find the full criteria for entry into the competition?
All entrants should read the competition guidance document before they enter the competition, which outlines entry criteria and file name guidance.
