Introduction

Coastal processes are a core part of physical geography. This dynamic landscape and how humans interact with it is constantly changing. Slapton Sands in Devon is a barrier beach system is a good example of a landscape which is undergoing rapid change.

This StoryMap helps pupils understand the processes at play in its creation and development. It has been designed so that pupils can explore at their own pace or as part of a more structured learning programme.
