Sustainable shopping
The sustainability of our shopping habits is a topic that is frequently covered in the media. The environmental impact of a major sporting event
You could, for example, study the environmental impact of the Wimbledon Tennis Championships in terms of factors such as noise, litter and traffic/pedestrian congestion in the area of Southfields. There is potential to use GIS software to record, analyse and present the findings of the study. This could be done for any large sporting event, concert or public event.
