We have recently approved the accreditation of 15 geography programmes at four higher education institutions across the UK, following review by the Society's Accreditation Review Panel. These latest accreditations bring the total number of programmes accredited by the Society to 252, including 239 undergraduate programmes and 13 master’s programmes across 62 institutions.  

Our accreditation scheme recognises excellence in teaching, learning and curriculum design. The Accreditation Review Panel assesses programmes against the QAA Subject Benchmark Statement for Geography and the Society's accreditation criteria, ensuring that graduates develop the knowledge, skills and experiences expected of contemporary geographers.
