About the speakers

Adam Vaughan, Times Environment Editor and host of the Planet Hope podcast, will be joined by Rolex Awards for Enterprise Laureate Denica Riadini-Flesch to discuss regenerating land, lives and tradition in Indonesia.

Social entrepreneur Denica Riadini-Flesch set up one of the world's first regenerative farm-to-closet clothing brands which uses sustainable agriculture and indigenous techniques to replace the need for harmful chemicals when growing and dying cotton. By doing so, her company “SukkhaCitta” also supports local cultures and artisanal skills in the manufacturing process and all along the supply chain.

Denica Riadini-Flesch is a recipient of the 2023 Rolex Awards for Enterprise. A part of the Perpetual Planet Initiative, the Rolex Awards for Enterprise supports exceptional individuals who have the courage and conviction to take on major challenges, initiating extraordinary projects that make the world a better place.

About Monday night lectures

• Monday night lectures are open to Fellows and Members and are included in the cost of membership.

• Monday night lectures are held in person in the Ondaatje Theatre and the bar will be open in the Map Room before and after the lecture. Please be advised all payments are card only.

• All Fellows and Members wanting to attend in person must pre-book a free ticket.

• All Monday night lectures are livestreamed via our website so you can watch them from wherever you are.
