Roads built over seasonally frozen land and water in Canada constitute an essential supply and service line to remote Canadian First Nation communities. Warming temperatures threatening food security and worsen the indigenous housing crisis. However Canadian First Nation knowledge is combining with Western climate research to inform and support culturally appropriate adaptations to future changes.
