Members' Room

Opening hours

The Members’ Room is open Monday to Friday, 10.00am – 5.00pm excluding bank holidays and other times when the Society is closed (for example, in between Christmas and New Year).

 

Access and services

The Members' Room can be used for small meetings and working remotely in comfort. You are welcome to relax in the comfortable surroundings of the Members’ Room, with free Wi-Fi available.

We may ask to see your membership card at Reception when you arrive. If you have any queries, please contact the Society either by email foh@rgs.org or on +44 (0) 207 591 3000 for more information.

• The Members’ Room is accessible to wheelchairs.

• Tea and coffee are available in the Members’ Room on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays only.

 

Bookable meeting rooms

Our six bookable rooms - Antarctica, Arctic, Caribbean, Hong Kong, Middle East and Oceans - are perfect for individual use and small business or planning meetings for up to four people.

• Each booking costs £10 per two hour period or part thereof.

• You can book and pay for a room by contacting reception at foh@rgs.org or calling 020 7591 3000.

• Meeting rooms must be booked, and paid for on arrival at reception.

• If there is specific equipment required for a meeting please request when booking.

• The Oceans meeting room is slightly larger to accommodate wheelchair access.
