The RGS-IBG Annual International Conference regularly attracts over 2,000 geographers from around the world. This year, the conference is taking place at Newcastle University, with in-person, online, and hybrid ways to participate.

We are delighted to announce exhibitor options for the upcoming RGS-IBG Annual International Conference 2022. Prices are inclusive of VAT. To book any of these packages, please complete and return a copy of this form to ac2022@rgs.org

Exhibitor packages, extras, and standalone options

Hybrid package - £950

This includes:

  • 1 x Table/space

  • 1 x Virtual booth

  • 1 x Mailing list advert

  • 1 x Sponsored programme session (in-person OR online)

  • 2 x 4-Day hybrid staff pass (4-day in-person attendance and virtual registration)

 

Virtual-only package - £600

This includes:

  • 1 x Virtual booth

  • 1 x Mailing list advert

  • 1 x Sponsored programme session (online)

  • 1 x Virtual-only registration

 

Extras (can only be added to an existing package)

  • Extra table/space - £410

  • Extra 4-day hybrid staff pass - £180

  • Extra 1-day hybrid staff pass (1-day in-person attendance and virtual registration) - £110

  • Extra sponsored programme session (in-person) - £180

 

Standalone (can also be added as extras to a booked package)

  • Virtual booth - £180

  • Mailing list advert - £180

  • Sponsored programme session (online) - £180

 

Item descriptions:

  • Table/space - a physical in-person table or equivalent 2m space in the in-person exhibitors hall

  • Virtual booth – a branded virtual presence on the conference programme site (see Conference exhibitor feature set up for details)

  • Mailing list advert - an advert in one of the delegate mailings that goes out in the month prior to the conference (150 words, image, and URL)

  • Sponsored programme session – branded session timeslot in the conference programme e.g. Meet the editors. Can select either in-person or online format. NB can only be linked to a Virtual booth where this has also been purchased.

  • Hybrid staff pass (4-day or 1-day) – in-person attendance for the listed days and a virtual registration

  • Virtual registration – a virtual registration covering all online sessions at the conference. No in-person attendance included.

 

Other key points

  • There is no charge for including a named lecture on the programme. However, these can only be linked in the programme to a branded Virtual booth presence, where this has been purchased by the publisher/exhibitor in question.

  • For exhibitors wishing to hold an in-person networking event (e.g. a book launch or drinks reception), prices are available on request. No room hire fee will be charged, but catering costs must be covered by the organising exhibitor

  • Publishers wishing to purchase conference attendance only are directed to the conference registration pages.

  • We will not be offering printed programme books or delegate packs at AC2022.

 

Cancellations

Virtual packages and standalones are non-refundable. If we cancel the in-person event we will refund the difference between the hybrid and virtual-only package to exhibitors who had booked the former (£350).

 

About the conference

The four-day Annual International Conference of the RGS-IBG attracts over 2,000 geographers from around the world. The conference programme normally includes more than 400 sessions contributed to by over 1500 presenters. Approximately 30% of attendees are from outside the UK, with half of these from the European Union.
