Session organisers advertise Calls for Papers (CfP) to their sessions
Prospective delegates submit paper proposals to either:
Organised sessions (by Research Groups or independent organisers) or
'Open' call, with sessions to be convened by Society conference planning committee
All session organisers and prospective delegates are asked to read the guidance for presenters and for session organisers before advertising a Call for Papers for their session, or before submitting a paper proposal to any session.
Prospective delegates should submit their paper and poster proposals to organised sessions or 'open' sessions. The Calls for Papers for 'organised' sessions will have various submission deadlines, some well before 24 March 2023.
Please note that this date has been extended so that it does not fall on a UCU strike date.
Conference organisers will confirm acceptance of sessions, papers and posters for the conference. Delegates may request letters of acceptance to make funding applications, and letters of invitation for visa applications.
Session organisers should convey planning information to participants in their sessions, for example length of time they can speak for, and any special arrangements. Session organisers should also supply any special requirements to conference organisers.
Online registration opens. Deadline for reduced rate ('early-bird') registrations is Friday 9 June 2023. All those listed on the conference programme (session organisers, chairs, presenting authors and discussants) must be registered by this date.
Provisional conference programme shared. Session organisers and presenting authors are invited to make corrections and request final changes to titles and abstracts.
All those listed on the conference programme (for example; chairs, panellists, discussants, presenting authors and so on) should be registered by this date.
Final conference programme published on the conference website. Changes may be made to the online programme at any time up to and during the conference.
The conference will take place at the Society and Imperial College London, and online, from the evening of Tuesday 29 August to Friday 1 September 2023 (closing at 18.00).
