Norwich and Norfolk school microlectures

Back by popular demand for a fifth successive year, come and hear from short-listed pupils from various Norfolk schools, each delivering a 15-minute presentation on a topic of their choice to our RGS audience. The evening showcases a broad range of subjects reflecting human, physical and environmental geography.

Last year’s compelling topics included; risks of extreme weather; the Antarctic economy; Monarch butterfly migration; stories behind the Gaza headlines and the human price of clothes.

It is a great occasion for our presenters, and a valuable opportunity for you to hear directly from youth leaders on global topics they feel passionate about. The evening is chaired by Tim O’Riordan OBE, Emeritus Professor at UEA and facilitated by Dr Anthony Speca from Norwich School.
