Peterborough microlectures

The Peterborough microlectures will be hosted by Dr Peter Brotherton, Director of Science and Climate Change at Natural England. Dr Brotherton is a highly influential ecologist who helps shape the UK government environmental policy and species recovery.

Enter your talk for this year's event

We are looking for 8-10 talks on any topic under the brief of ‘People, planet and partnership’ from the UN Resolution 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

• The talk must be super-curricular to the geography curriculum.
• A talk title is required + a synopsis of the talk content of no more that 75 words.
• The talk must last no longer than 5 minutes.
• There will be an opportunity for questions from the audience after each talk (max. 5 mins).
• The talk can be given in pairs or by one person.
• A maximum of 10 PowerPoint slides can be used.
• Any videos must be embedded into the PowerPoint.
• All sources must be referenced.
• Please ensure that you include your first and last name, year group, school, synopsis and use your school email address (not personal address).

Please email a synopsis of your presentation to the Head of Geography, Mrs Gray, at the King’s School, Peterborough (gray.s@kings.peterborough.sch.uk) by Monday 2 November.
